Indeed. When you consider the time period, the mid 80s, you realize the second world war ended only 40 years ago. For the old men running the studio at the time WWII was a living memory of something they experienced. They put all their resources into preventing any future nationalist movement from arising. It explains much of how we got where we are now.
They went full speed ahead with multiculturalism, even to the point it damaged their own power by importing groups far more hostile to them than the native population. They promoted decentralization and freedom of speech to their own detriment. Anything to prevent unified action by a native population.
In our own era the propaganda of a previous generation, "fight the power!", can seem downright based and redpilled, but we must remember it was just a previous stage of our destruction. You have to go back a lot further, like to the middle ages, to find stories for our people, by our people.
