This is how normalfags perceive autists discussing their issues, they see two clearly different things, and thus logically two different groups who think one or the other is better, but because they don't care for or understand they issue they assume having an opinion about it is silly and start going into hysterics "REEEEE WHY DO AUTISTS CARE ABOUT ANYTHING? S-STOP, STOP HAVING INTERESTS THAT SCARE ME!"
If this was something normies got, like the difference between the fifty billion different variants of Minnie Mouse dolls covered in Swarovski crystals, or asking if your bf is cheating on you because he sent you two heart emojis instead of the usual three, they'd totally get it and talk your ear off for hours about it
But as soon as it's something they don't personally like they'll portray it as silly, crazy or a bad sign of autism because they get spooked when an autist is passionate about something instead of being small and delicate and sipping his little juicebox while doing a puzzle in the corner
