What I want to know is what exactly is the problem with frequently occurring threads if people are actually talking about video games, as opposed to 90% of the catalogue which is NOT talking about video games. You think those would get priority to be deleted first, no? Instead of enforcing a rule which seems to benefit nobody involved and wastes everyones time. This is a popular game. Lots of people are talking about it. /vg/ has multiple clubs, /v/ has multiple clubs. There's not a ton of games that came out this year that people are buzzing about. Deltarune is one of the only ones I can think of, people seemed to like DK but that's a one and done thing. I just find it weird that video game discussion is limited on the super crazy random video game board that more resembles /b/ than a /v/ideo game board. You would think as long as its video games, anything goes? It's not like this is some zombie community where only 5 people are interested. There's legit hundreds who want to talk about it which is why threads are hitting bump limit so quickly.
I don't get this behavior when people get upset about a thread reoccuring. Literally just filter the thread or don't go in it if you don't like the thing.
