He doesn't want to weigh himself, and doesn't get up from the couch. He had a stroke 15 years ago, survived and got fit but since about 8 years it's been downhill.
I live on the other side of the globe so I see him once or twice a year, but my sister is marrying soon so I'll see him.

He lied to my face before I left the country, promising he'd get better, I came back to see him even more obese. He'll lie about seeing doctors too.
I already made peace, and am still pissed at him lying to me when I had a long discussion with him, but my sister wants to act, and we're afraid our mom will just kill herself if he dies.
I think getting him into one of these weight losing facilities would help him, but we can't force him so we're fucked.
