Almost 20 years in here as Byzantium. Started off with a no-CB war against the Ottomans, which I used to cut off their sea access. The loss in stability from declaring it meant that I had to navigate a lengthy succession crisis that triggered a series of civil wars. Now though I've essentially consolidated my rule, although the hunt for an heir continues. Unfortunately my daughter whom is the heir apparent has picked up the idiot trait, so I'm trying to figure out a way to shift the succession to my brother, who has great traits. It costs 50 stability and 50 legitimacy to change the law, which I'm not eager to do since it will cause me to go negative on stability and will probably cause another round of civil wars.
