I went to fake-work today and it actually felt really good! I thought I was gonna be all salty about having my time wasted by doing paperwork and responding to month-old emails at a unit that has had no tactical or strategic relevance ever, but seeing people was nice and I made the horrid mistake of signing up for a bunch of secondary duties in my mirth, and felt nothing bad about being told I might have to actually work in the coming year on getting the juniors trained and ready to do whatever it is we're supposedly doing. Getting a real job was an incredible morale boost to take to my fake job!

>thread complaining about le it
honestly I don't do shit at work but it feels like every time I'm away, when I come back everything is broken. It's like the opposite of the old "the network works, why do we pay these people??" thing; I wonder why I have to spend a whopping like 5 hours in office a day but as soon as I'm not there I'm like "Oh. Now that I'm not here fixing the little shit inbetween hour-long smoke breaks, NOTHING FUCKING WORKS and I have TEN THOUSAND EMAILS COMPLAINING ABOUT IT"
