Gunn's Superman only gets knocked out once in a fight in the movie. In MoS, Superman gets knocked out twice.

Also, in MoS, Superman often struggled against single opponents who, while technologically advanced, do not have his powers and were not fully prepared to deal with him. Here, Superman is usually fighting multiple opponents, one of whom is a literal clone, all of whom are being directed by a genius who has spent three years obsessively coming up with ways to fight him.

Besides, both MoS and 2025 Superman are weak compared to Superman Returns, who could lift an entire island, laced with Kryptonite, into orbit and hurl it into space with enough force for it to reach escape velocity.

Y'know, as long as we're talking about power scaling or whatever. Pretty sure this is the single biggest strength feat out of any cinematic Superman. That must mean this is a better movie than MoS, right?
