That means you always roll on the standard banner until you get a 5 star
After you get your 5 star, you star rolling on the special banner because it has pity at 50 pulls instead of 80.
You essentially save yourself potentially 30 pulls.

You're doing low difficulty chaos stages.
Level up, progress more and unlock harder abyss stages so you can save better stuff and have access to better cards and gear.
This system is in place so people don't grind for perfect godly decks on low difficulty chaos stages with zero risk while ignoring the harder ones.
