Thats usually how it works. They have to implement gimmicks that people have to work around so everyone has an excuse to roll for certain characters or do more chaos runs to get a deck that can deal with the mechanic.

This game has a looming issue that you can potentially make a save data that is TOO GOOD and it loops around dealing infinite damage which will trivialize anything unless they put stopgaps against it. Which is very difficult to predict since theres a fuckton of permutations involved when you have to take into account multiple characters interacting with other characters and each character having their own set of epiphany combinations and the number of characters will only keep growing and growing.
They will fuck up at some point thats a given.

So I was enjoying the game so far but for some reason I can't win against "Bercula" the intermediate level up boss since I have no good AoE character(other than Haru I guess)...
