I think my dad has 2 Arisaka’s with the mum, both in 6.5jap. I think they are the same exact type. I can’t remember the type number. They’re from the occupation. He has a Mosin, I think that’s a type 53. It’s from Vietnam and has capture papers. There’s a legit crossbow from the Cambodian tribes that our special forces worked with in Vietnam. For a brief period some of the special forces guys reported to my grandpa. He gave them a can of tobacco and asked them to trade it for him. He had no idea what he would get and was super excited when he got the crossbow. I guess the Vietcong tried to kill my grandpa twice in Vietnam. He had the claymore pellets from one attempt put in acrylic with a little note. I have that but it’s at the other house and not really impressive. Anyway, he scored this gun in the Philippines in WWII, grandpa not dad. It’s pretty cool because 2 world wars and a police action. The 135th ever issued to the Navy, first batch. 1-500 went to the Army.
