>no lucky lekku side panel
>the front bay doors still don't hinge forward the way they're supposed to, they just pop in and out instead of incorrectly being part of the rear bay doors like on the old crumb bomber
>still (seemingly) no room for an AT-RT in the back, certainly doesn't include one
>can't even include the floodlights to mount in place of the front pods for its appearances on umbara and coruscant
>and being a haslab means we're never ever ever seeing any recolors of it
As someone who is generally all for upgraded and more realistic vehicles, this just seems like such a wasted opportunity that I feel nothing about it. It doesn't look 'definitive', it's not my 'dream version' of the gunship, it's just a bigger-but-similarly-inaccurate version of what I already have; the improvements to scale, slightly improving (but not fully fixing) the doors, and adding the rear ramp don't make it perfect on their own, and for $450 it really needed to feel perfect. If this had fully fixed the doors, included an AT-RT that could fit folded up in the back, included the swappable floodlights, and at minimum one or two more sets of side panels, I think I would've happily paid more than $500 for it and bought at least two, but in this state I don't even want one, which sucks, because inevitably hasbro isn't going to take the right lessons from this if it fails. We have so many never-made vehicles that could've taken this slot, but instead we got this incremental improvement on something we already have, that would need another haslab in 5+ years to truly "finish" and make perfect, and if/when this fails, it's gonna hurt our chances of getting things in the future that would've easily succeeded.
