This year's HHN especially in Orlando looks like absolute shit, literally.
>Terrifier has actual shit gags with shit scent pods and gored children edgelord trash like the movies
>It also requires you to wear a poncho because they're planning to pour buckets of water on you for some reason and they think people are going to enjoy getting drenched in a haunted house and smelling shit
>The other main IP headliner is based on a FPS game series that isn't scary or interesting enough to adapt into a compelling indoor walkthrough
>One of the houses is based on WWE and has the aesthetics of some trailer trash kid's nu-metal CD collection he bought at hot topic in 2001
>One of the houses is Five Nights at Freddie's the gayest horror IP that has ever existed
>Jason Universe is the only IP-based house that looks any good
>All the original non-IP houses have the worst most generic ideas and promotional art associated with them
>Scare zones all seem as unimaginative as the houses
I can't believe we already planned and locked ourselves in to HHN this year. If we had booked a refundable place to stay we would be cancelling, especially after that midsummer scream panel. Hope some of the original stuff is better than it sounds because I hate the Terrifier series and the house sounds like it represents everything I dislike about it. All the headliners except Jason sound like potentially the worst HHN houses in recent history. And the non-IP houses are dolls and gay hispanic shit. It's going to suck isn't it? Hopefully we will finally get a good day at Epic on this trip at least, unlike when we went earlier back in June. If not, we probably won't be returning to Universal Orlando for many years.
