I have a rosary with her on it. It's a fragile thing, though, so I don't wear it too often. Doesn't help that I have a rather large head. Besides that, I bought a nice illustration of her from someone who makes a lot of religious art.

It's less "become her own person" and more "no longer considers herself a worthless mistake". Even her more recent interludes go over how she thinks she doesn't belong in this world, and she jokes about disappearing forever once everything is said and done. It's a painful thing to read, truly.
Regardless, I love her, no matter the setting or version or IP. At her core, she's still the woman I fell in love with (with some artistic liberties). I still have to ask that you die, however.
