It's basic economics. You want to minimize work and maximize profit, your employer wants to maximize your work and minimize your compensation, and you meet in the middle.
This whole "shaming" people who don't want to work is just a psychological trick to push the balance in favor of employers. No bitch, I'll do the minimum I can get away with while getting from you the most money I can and you'll do the exact opposite.
