The coolest concept would be something like you're a Nazi Assassin taking out the Templars and their international banking system as well as other similar splinter assassin factions from various other political groups. One one hand you're still fulfilling your Creed and fighting the Templars, you're also a highly skilled agent of the Third Reich and your dossiers may overtime grow to be unreliable, outdated and even falsified. It lines up perfectly with the Order also hoarding all the magical artifacts to themselves. Too bad Ubisoft jumped the gun and made the Templars ally with the Nazis for some ungodly reason.
