Steam deck's ergo is really underated and putting sticks and dpad in-line with the large, extended slopped area makes almost any combination of controls comfortable, even the trackpads which the Ally doesn't even have.

The steam deck succeeded because it was as versatile as possible and you could play a huge variety of shit. None of these fucking clones get that. Locking it down to one console's library, designing it more strictly around dpad games rather than stick games, and eliminating entire genres from being comfortably playable literally kills the device's entire purpose.
