One other curious thing he mentions is belief which stems from memories in which memories are data and data is light. IIRC they really hammer this in your skull starting ch9 and I remembered something else that's made of light that was mentioned in ch3....I have thoughts but I'm going to just wait for now
Itzamna is a sweetheart if not a little too focused on the worst case scenario which yeah I know that feeling. But he really reminds me of Shennong trying to save people of their respective worlds and failing to due so yet still trying until they couldn't anymore and the regrets that follow Hating people putting themselves in harms way/sacrificing themselves. God both would have a fit over Maria especially ch4 Maria. It's ironic he's so against self sacrifice/bloodshed even avoiding his siblings yet he would offer himself over the younger generation and since he always calls himself old I guess that feeling could be like age related survivor's guilt i guess? I don't know how to word it. Him shouting at Yasu for saying he would use his body as a shield. It was a shock yet it shows how Yasu would get happiness from protecting others yet his happiness would hurt Itzamna which was brought up during Ziz's part. In the end he did change a worlds belief like he tried to in ELD and he sees Quetzal in us but also sees us as our own person and wants us to live our lives as our own which was really nice
Itzamna's SQ
This happens technically during the Event at the start but the 2nd half is after the Event. He greets us as Santa and changed into the outfit in the elevator has no shame I guess. He loves chocolate which was a cute detail. He talks about his siblings and how he thought himself different from Tez but seemed to be the same. Both focusing on ELD's System but in different ways. In the end we overheat in the sauna and wake up with his tail around us and we give the lizard a very passionate kiss and fog up the windows
