i have a theory, i believe with the recent rumors of activision testing out bots for use in warzone, i believe they use the names of people who have played the game and use those names on random bots which then are equipped with the newest skins in order to increase sales. this can explain why people who have the game installed somehow the game is still running in the background with steam counting the hours played
