Yuu's been fine, he has reasons to be upset at his parents and Orphan but also not necessarily trust Grand Doga or whatever the good guys are. Kanan's alright and Jonathan is too in small doses, Quincy hates fun and has tremendous issues at the cost of being pretty. It just feels like everyone has their own baggage that they - and we the audience - will have to deal with at some point. It was fine anticipating that in Evangelion (legitimately a good show as it turns out, nothing wrong with the original series and movie) but it's somehow tiring here. It might not even be the show's fault in all honesty.
Hime's been harmlessly fine, but I'm always really looking forward to seeing picrel. She seems like the sort to barge in your room or kidnap you so she can do experiments for fun.
