Here is Lula at the inauguration ceremony of the Gripen assembly plant in Brazil.
Brazil also have the lead for developing "Sea Gripen", which would be a Gripen with thrust vectoring and more powerful engine.

IIRC all Gripen F (twin seat model) will be made in Brazil, even those that Sweden will operate.
So I think it's a good deal.

Also, you guys are making your own airborne missiles (cruise missiles, anti radiation and anti aircraft missiles).
All of which can be integrated into Gripen by Brazilian technicians.
So we are talking about full tech transfer.

Also, ERIEYE is now an Embraer based system.
