I'm about the same place as you (though I didn't get the summer skin); I like Rapi well enough, though I wouldn't put her in my top 5, and yeah, it's legitimately pathetic, and I don't think it's in an intentional way. The personality trait of being openly jealous whenever other Nikkes flirt with him, all the while refusing to be directly upfront with him, is really killing her character. Just have her jump his bones already, it doesn't have to include a heartfelt declaration of love. Just do it like the other characters have already. It's not like the sex encounters come up at all in the main story.

Also, while ranting about Rapi from a non-negative place, I will never forgive ShiftUp for downgrading her. The original design is visually striking, sexy, and iconic to the game (and probably why they still use it everywhere). Red Rapi is a straight downgrade in just about every way.
