And, for a little bonus, OVR dynamic res takes in gpu frame time, not actual "framerate value", so it's not affected by reprojection or framerate locks, throwing in general values of "framerate i'd like to feel" into settings yields perfect results.

It's great, should be a default behavior in steamvr under auto resolution.
