In a true SHTF scenario bullets would become scarce pretty quickly
Once that happens youre fucked
If your gun fails you are fucked
If your guns become rusty you are fucked

But arrows last a loooong time and if you’re determined enough you can iust build a bow out of wood so you’ll always have that option

It’s good to have both, you want the guns for the intense scenarios and a bow for if shit ever turns into fallout and you have to live long term
