Not to my taste, anyway. Better than some deathcore I've heard, but it's not even as good as early 200SW, which does a better job of being both death metal and hardcore. It just leaves a lot to be desired, as someone who often listens to death metal. The muddy guitar tone doesn't help either.

That's just California being out of money. The state kicks things down the road constantly. It all caught up to the state this year. There were the fires that devastated multiple communities, effectively erasing some. The fire response itself cost an incredible amount of money. So immediate debt, combined with future loss of "revenue" due to not being able to charge the same property tax in the future. There was also a massive payout of settlements involving state/county workers committing sexual assaults. That caused such a massive deficit they had to eliminate a healthcare program for illegal aliens they said they would never touch just to balance the budget. Then include all kinds of business leaving the state because of higher taxes and political policies. All that trickles down to the county level where they expected state funding. So now places like LA have to start tightening their belts. They're eliminating homeless programs and shutting down parks and beaches for several days out of the week. All kinds of layoffs. The people of California voted for this
