That's what makes it frustrating. The idea of the joke is great, but the dialogue just doesn't work to enhance it.

Maybe Kato should have used Tien as a reference for how to write a serious character who deals with comedic allies.

Kuriza sneaking into the mission and Vegeta having to act as his babysitter feels very Toriyama-like. Why Kato mixed a good gag with TFS dialogue is something I don't understand...
