I, for one, think the hate against ProZD is excessive. He could have gone about it more delicately, but at the end of the day he was just pushing for more diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Voice Acting community.
And voice acting isn't just some skill that anyone of any race with voice-related talented can do - it's a community. A historically marginalized community, so -yes- there is NOTHING wrong with making sure BIPOC roles go to BIPOC people only, while leaving the (predominant anyways) white roles to meritocracy. This isn't "reverse racism" or "shameless regression to segregation" - this is just common sense.
