Ming was a chinese dynasty often considered the golden age of China along with Tang dynasty. Qinq was a manchurian dynasty, basically foreign barbarians taking over and ruling China.

You know the stereotypical chinese hairstyle of shaved forehead and long braid? Chinks didn't wear that by choice. Qinq government demanded every chinese to have that specific hairstyle as a sign of servitude and so manchurians could instantly recognize who wasn't manchurian.
