I like making it overnight with milk/yogurt/fruit/nuts but have been experimenting with savoury kinds. In a rice cooker I've been adding:
>3 cups steel cut oats (rolled oats turn to mush)
>3.5 cups water with powdered stock / liquid vegetable stock
>A few forkloads of kimchi
>Handful of peanuts or cashews
>Shake some dried fenugreek over the top
>A few dried shitake or oyster mushrooms
>A bit of soy sauce and sesame oil
And putting as many eggs into the steamer tray that will fit, or 4ish on one side and a fistful of spinach on the other to wilt. Not my photo but very much related

No they're not. Source: I'm an actual farmer that grows oats, rye, wheat, triticale, canola and lucerne for both humans and livestock and a brewery. There's a lot of disinformation out there I could rant and rave about, but this is a comfy food thread and not a conspiracy one
