We can make some connections. I think that Chinatown is entirely a The Chinese Room creation. I don't think it existed in the Hardsuit version. There was a hub called Aurora. We can make the connection to the Aurora pawn shop which is where, in the old version, the Baron operated from. I think they've kept the pawn shop, but stuck it near the biker bar. The gardens were their own hub originally, but that's in the top right corner of the map now. There was a hub called the university. I don't think it survived. Or else they just copied bits from it.

I wonder about the fact that they had so many hubs and standalone levels in the Hardsuit game in late 2019. It sorta speaks to the game being a big collection of disjointed questlines and basically each hub being a vertical slice. Heck, even Lou had her own dedicated mansion level. I guarantee that pieces of that mansion level were recycled for the upper floor of the Glacier Hotel where you meet Lou in this version.
