VNs really are better with text covering the whole screen. I've been reading Itsusora for a couple days and it's bringing me back to my early VN days reading old games like Tsukihime where the text got top billing and the visuals were just for extra context, instead of the other way around with fancy art getting all the focus in so many new games.
