IT's the closest, but I urge you to pay close attention to the word "tribulation" in discussions of eschatology.
You will find that all the different camps define it differently, as does Jesus Himself.
It is an interesting word study, but you have to set aside all previous teachings and presuppositions and listen to where the Holy Spirit leads.

Also, "Great Tribulation" is usually lumped in with the term, but is more accurately described by calling it the times of Jacob's trouble. Considering the two time periods to be the same has caused much confusion.
