Yes. I have the "lighting" effect connected to the matrix when I put all the hot rod's accessories in a bag. It is not like hot rod can mount the matrix properly.
I usually just use the exhaust as the gun like in the movie for hot rod so I don't even use the guns.

I kind of put this away before people starting to know that the effect parts and rubber tires damage paint and bare plastic
