Didn't see this comic on their links. It's a good window to how the US goth scene was like from the early '00s to late '00s.

There's also this book. I got it for cheap in the early '00s. A good crash course of the goth subculture from the influences to the origins. A little out of date (2002), but the most pure take on the scene before edge thots, emo kids, scene kids, and that sort of dumb bullshit came to be poorly linked to the subculture.

What are your favourite goth related (and adjacent genres) albums?
I like trad goth, deathrock, horror punk, psychobilly, dark cabaret, gothic country, darkwave, coldwave, and some ethereal wave. I don't like neoclassical darkwave or neofolk much. I like some industrial / rivet friendly stuff, mostly from electro industrial, ebm, and futurepop albums. Not much into industrial rock and metal fusion genres.
