She's not coming to save you, and if you hate that and wish she would, you missed the entire point of the show.
She's an absolute failure of a human and broken on a far more fundamental and traumatic level than Satou is. Satou, for all his failings as a human, doesn't resort to trying to manipulate anyone into being his emotional crutch.
