the tl;dr is that the only way to truly save Shart's parents seems to be to kill then and make them Moonmotes, under Selune's light, since they will be forever tainted by Shar without Selune's intervention.

Now I realize, with the new ending, this might not even be the case anymore since Evil Shart founds a new Church with the Absolute ending, but whatever.
