So fucking disappointed in this game.
Fun voicelines, great customization and variety for both weapons and armour, excellent gameplay that genuinely felt like chivalry 2.0, and then they released it with THREE large maps and no mod support. Even now 6 years after there's only 10 large maps and the mod support is dogshit. Chivalry had a fucking trillion maps and a super active modding community, you could play for days and not see some maps repeat, everything felt different and new, whereas in mordhau they decided to appeal to comp autists who just want to do the exact same thing day in day out with zero variation forever, but SHOCKINGLY enough those guys only made up like 0.1% of potential players. Its especially noticeable with the new cosmetics that all take like 20+ hours of playtime to unlock, they're not meant for normal people theyre meant for sweaty lifeless autists.

They also completely ruined the fun boys club vibe/community by stomping out all fun with obnoxious chat censorship and adding goofy immersion breaking women knights because annoying redditors who never even played the game complained about it.

So much potential and they fucked it all up, they wont even finish releasing their modkit because theyre ashamed and don't want actually talented people to surpass them and save their game, they'd rather let it die.

And chivalry 2 is floaty dogshit spyware that still has the goofy spinning bullshit that killed the first game.
