picrel was just a safe bet, once. you could find it for a quid or 1.25 somewhere. and yep, just a nice beer. not going to get upset it's not bottle-conditioned or summat.

but fuck me i had the new, 0.2% reduced ABV one and it's worse. might be the same mash, hops, whatever, but someone at some point in manufacturing had it sussed and now it's just not rite. and if anything i think 5.2% was high: i'd PREFER a 4% ale that just tastes good.
