I was responding to a post saying it's a Part 2 special when Fujimoto did the same thing numerous times in P1, leaving things unexplained until a later point.
People just have convinced themselves with the Lebowski quote that everything that happens is completely random, even though Fujimoto is clearly picking up on things that happened in the earlier chapters.
