Genshin genuinely has a good story but it takes a triple digit IQ and many hours of reading through item descriptions, interpreting mural wall paintings and smoking DMT to imagine the hyperborean conspiracy in the astrophysical plane. Once you figure it out though, it's one of the best stories in video gayming.
