The average person still doesn't understand that BTC is finite. It's still in the newly established but untrusted thing status for them. Kind of like pre 00 debit/credit cards or internet. People can tell them the system of tubes information superhighway is going to be a big thing but they'll be distrustful and mocking until they see the writing on the wall.
