The main story is forgettable, becoming a werewolf is completely invalidated by getting a ring at the end of the questline that lets you turn into a werewolf whenever you want and the Raven Rock quests are often waiting around for things to happen. The only plus is the environment which is a nice change of pace even then you're just constantly fight absurdly overleveled plague bears and spriggans. Every time I replay Bloodmoon I am reminded why a bit of level scaling isn't bad. Also the last quest with all the insane werewolves is just pure cancer.

Werewolf and Vampire Lord are supposed to be incredibly strong.
They are both incredibly strong in vanilla.
Since making things too strong is bad, there does not need to be a mod that improves either of them.
Werewolf and Lord are both curses. This means there are supposed to be trade-offs for using them.
Werewolves get no skill-ups, can't interact with several objects, and don't get the Well Rested bonus.
This is why mods that allow werewolves to get skill-ups in combat, interact with objects, and sometimes grant well rested are bad, because it's removing the drawbacks already designed for the curse.
Adding weaknesses to fire/silver/random transformations doesn't make the game more difficult, but instead adds tedium, which is bad game design.
Similarly, vampires have a shit-load of problems, like sunlight and fire weaknesses.
Another problem is that a vampire's spellcasting is supposed to be limited.
Even -if- the MCM allows for vampire stage progression to be tweaked, and even -if- the MCM allows for the removal of new spells for vampire, that is -only an admission that the mod isn't needed in the first place- because the player is resetting things back to vanilla.
If a mod makes werewolves/vampires more powerful, then it's an admission of guilt that the mod creator is engaging in a power fantasy that could've been just as easily served via ~tgm because of how strong werewolf and vampire already are.
If a mod removes the consequences of being cursed, then it's an admission of guilt that the modder wants only the benefits without the drawbacks, and could have achieved the same result with ~tgm.
Vampire and werewolf mods, by design, are immersion breaking because the modders who design them have a poor grasp of game design, and are just doing things because it's "cool". If YOU think the mods are cool, then ADVERTISE it as cool instead of "customizable" or "balanced".
