Druids could also stealth cap in AB, and in 1v1 they are actually very consistent, just not amazing.
Not every class needed to be a powerhouse in everything
Warriors were probably the WORST 1v1 class, but insanely good in 2vX
Priests were very good supports if not the best, but unless you were shadow you couldnt really do damage except try to outlast people, but you couldnt run away if the situation needed it
Rogues were aids for any prolonged fights (ALL BGS) but were amazing when they had their cooldowns, best stealth cappers
Warlocks fucking sucked vs melee and during vanilla were considered the actual worst class of the game, which isnt true as they have the biggest spell burst damage potential and with gear they could kill lesser geared people with just their dots (good in BGs)
Hunters had insane physical burst and could poke people to death from long range, and they had amazing CC. but people didnt consider them overpowered (they were)
Shamans had insane and reliable spell burst on cd but no CC at all, could also heal people in a pinch and were aids to take down like paladins
Paladins had insane utility but less healing potential than priests but were potentially very tanky, DS is the best CD in the game for all BGs
Druids could spin flags all day, could stealth cap shit people werent defending and were the de facto best flag carriers in the game
But druids werent able to do much burst damage so they suck and they NEEDED to be able to do the same damage (Except priest and paladin)
