because my cousin does this, he devoted almost every waking moment from the time he was 20 up until his 40s trying to help the homeless and less fortunate, you know what it taught me? That the majority of them can't be helped, they put themselves there and no amount of help or food will free them. Worse, they'll just drag you down to their level.
