I mean we got some pretty wild shit like picrel, but yeah, I will agree on the whole that DB hype was pretty low even after BoG came out. We still had Toriko for a good year before Buu saga ran 2014-2015. 2015 was the year everything changed with RoF, Super Manga, Super Anime, Xenoverse 1 and the SHF warrior awakening. It was a wrap after that.
