yesterday, somebody in here inserted their foot SO FAR INTO THEIR MOUTH, their foot came out their ass...
when they said "mural business is dead"
lol
I informed them MURALS HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE POPULAR!!
cities all across the world are encouraging murals on the sides of businesses everywhere...
It's popping up everywhere these days

So he couldn't have been more wrong
there's never been a more busy time for mural artists
(All you need to do is get started, And you'll pretty much immediately realize OH THIS IS A LOT EASIER THAN I THOUGHT!!!)
soon you'll be teaching yourself all kinds of artistic techniques and blending and shading, etc etc
But even more importantly:
YOU'LL BE HAVING A LOT OF FUN
It's fun as shit!! You get totally lost into the art, and everything else disappears.
It's just you and the art
and some music
It's important to have good music in the background while you're painting

basically, you're dancing with colors if that makes any sense
AFTER THAT FIRST PAINTING
You're now pretty much an expert
you'll still be learning everyday...
(I still learn every time I pick up a paint brush or a ballpoint pen)

So you'll never stop learning

But after that first painting
you'll realize you've mastered it
You're technically an expert at this point.
And every painting after that becomes more fun and more and more exciting.
like I said it's important to have the right music in the background

I prefer rave music... It's positive and upbeat and fast pace and keeps you motivated, without a bunch of lyrics or stupid stories to distract you

nobody needs to hear lyrics about "I love you" or "she left me" when you're being creative

That's why Rave music is the perfect choice

Alan pulled out his wallet and handed me SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HINDRED DOLLARS CASH!!!!!!!!!!!!

pay attention dude This is probably the most important thing I could teach you today

unexplaining how somebody TAUGHT ME

And I'm passing Allen's lesson on to you today

as he was handing me 10 TIMES MORE THEN I ASKED FOR.... he explained..
"Your artwork is only worth as much as you say it's worth. And I wipe my ass with $750 Johnny"

hahahaha

and he told me "FROM NOW ON YOU WON'T LIFT A GODDAMN PAINT BRUSH FOR LESS THAN $7,500"

sounded great
But honestly the next art job, I was still kind of scared about asking for so much money

And when they said "how much will it cost?" I gritted my teeth and swallowed and smiled... "$10,000"

and they wrote 50% deposit IMMEDIATELY!!!

there was no hesitating, there was no 'I'll think about it' Like I used to get when I was charging people $700

It turns out Alan was a mother fucking genius

TELL YOUR CLIENTS YOU NORMALLY DON'T DO ANYTHING FOR LESS THAN $3,500 AND THAT'S FOR A SMALL PIECE BUT START AT $3,500...

That 3500 will go a long way compared To what you'll earn applying at fast food restaurants
