yes, there are HOA fees for the cost of the building and staff. they're $400-600 ish for apartments like the one i described. if you were buying with a minimum down payment 30 year mortgage like you would on a family home i don't know if that's a good idea.
although, if you offered it as a rental or short term travel accommodations you could probably make profit even with a mortgage.
