I present you a render from Sonic Blitz, a game coming out this year. If you saw this render for the first time, if not for the games logo, you would've likely assumed this render was from around the 2010s, and that's a bad thing.
Another thing about this model, I don't know if its the iffy posing Sega tends to give him, or his face, or both, but he doesn't look that cool...
