Well it was a bait and switch. They put up a sign referencing a restoration of the old GB firehouse the same day they posted a blog and video about Spooktacular. Then weeks later they posted the other signs that all but confirm that the ride will be Fast and Furious with the closure of Supercharged.

Personally I think the Ghostbusters easter egg was hinting at Fallon being removed afterwards and shifted into Ghostbusters once the Supercharged replacement is completed around 2028. It would be cool if they did both at the same time actually cause Studios needs several additions to bring it up to the level of Epic and Islands. Shit even Islands needs something now.
