Hex-Tech still exists (Christian Linke said so in the stream), it's just not got Jayce and Viktor to specialise how to use it. New inventors and creators will come up and utilise it which will lead to Blitz and Camille, chem-tech will progress further and allow for the likes of Renata to exist.
