Both support and jungler can roam, the difference is that the jungler has to stick to jungle objectives, while the botlane needs the support to enable the ADC to snowball. You have much more tight times to roam as support than jungler. In general, roaming and invading are the strongest strategies any role can do, if you can afford to sacrifice some gold for it.

I think a bigger problem is Supports don't know how to lane, and play with ADCs properly, so the trust between the two is very low. I honestly wish I could play to enable all my ADCs, but if they don't trust me... Then it's kind of hard to play for them. Support is already 50% a roaming role. Watch any high-elo stream and you'll see that half the time, the support is roaming.

The problem is that in lower tiers, supports are emotionally attached to their ADCs. It's impossible for them to understand that they have to roam or press tab, see who is stronger and who is the winning condition of the game is, and play with that player.

There is no winning. It's gamble on top of gamble. And often times the player that the support roams to will feel pressured to make a play because they know their adc is being sacked for this support roam so they end up throwing and then you have 3 people who just tilted out of the game. Don't pretend like you haven't seen that happen.

Remove support roaming. Remove support damage. Give them more gold and exp you degenerate riot employees. If I have to tab and see the support being level 7 while the mid is level 12 again and have to pretend I'm playing a competitive game
